226 Emily Fermor

Region: Banbury – North & West
Artform: Jewellery
Emily Fermor’s handmade jewellery has a contemporary approach to using semi-precious gemstones. Her bold work experiments with textures to create an attractive tactile finish while considering the practicality of everyday wear
Emily established her jewellery making skills starting to work alongside a German jeweller in 2006, who inspired her fascination of natural gemstones. After becoming independent in 2014 she has been developing her style over the last 10 years.
Emily enjoys searching for alternative and unusual gemstones, letting these and her textures bring out the designs she creates in her rural studio in Oxfordshire.
Emily is now beginning to bring shape and texture from both the natural world and architecture into elements of her design, experimenting all the time.
