64 Nikki Cheetham

Region: Wallingford – South & Vale
Artform: Painting
Nikki Cheetham is a contemporary artist with a film maker’s background. She works tonally in oils on board, experimenting with gold & silver leaf. Based in the Thameside village of South Stoke,(in a renovated pigsty!) she is influenced by the ancient historic landscape of The Ridgeway and the waters that run fast in winter near her home.
Nikki’s current work explores themes such as ethereal love and the potentially protective presence of angels, inviting viewers to explore their own connection to the spiritual world. Through her art she navigates the light and dark of the imagination, balancing the sacred and profane. Each piece invites reflection and aims to inspire a deeper understanding of the complexities of human experience.
