Exhibition information

My current work explores themes such as ethereal love and the potentially protective presence of angels, inviting viewers to explore their own connection to the spiritual realm. Although I am an agnostic, it is the light & dark of the imagination, the connections between the sacred and material world, our propensity for serenity and fury – these are the areas that fascinate me. Each piece invites reflection and aims to inspire a deeper understanding of the complexities of human experience.

 

Artist information

I am a contemporary artist with a documentary film maker’s background, having spent my working life at the BBC and as MD of a large independent global company.   Over the last 10 years I have been taught and mentored by Marie Claire Hamon and Jon Doran, both excellent professional artists at the Newlyn School of Art, Cornwall. Now working tonally with oils on board , I am also experimenting with gold & silver leaf. Based in the Thameside village of South Stoke,I’m looking forward to welcoming visitors for the first time to my newly renovated studio – formerly (and perhaps currently!) a pigsty!
