Jane’s main work is from life; life drawing, oil portraits and landscapes painted plein air, wrestling with making 3D objects look real and striking on a flat canvas. Jane is also working on a series about the isolation & atomisation of people in public places. She has been using images from the London Underground, the streets and Heathrow Airport to show an underlying desolation which seems to be growing among us.
