Hi I’m Merrill – a landscape photographer and digital artist. Nature is a never ending source of inspiration, whether it be dramatic seascapes, mountains or the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire. It provides an opportunity to create something unique. Each image captures a moment in time that will never be quite the same again – the light, the clouds and the colours. My digital art provides an opportunity for me to take things to another level. It’s a true blank canvas for my imagination to run riot on and create images that tell a story, combining familiar elements in unfamiliar settings or situations.

My PetFlicks series invites viewers to see pets not just as companions, but as larger-than-life heroes and stars – proving once and for all that every pet is born to lead… on and off the screen.
