My work celebrates expressive line, bold colour, and a healthy dose of cheekiness across a wide range of mediums and subjects.
I’m drawn to the human form – life drawing studies, contemplative figures, bodies of all sizes and shapes, at times with queer and androgynous aesthetics – as well as characterful pet portraits that capture personality and quirk. Beyond figurative work, I create playful illustrations that often have an absurdist or humorous edge. Whether it’s a person, my cats, or something unexpected, there’s usually a bit of wit lurking in the work.
I love experimenting with different surfaces and techniques: ink drawings, lino prints, paintings in watercolour, acrylic, and oils on paper, fabric, wood, and glass. I’m also branching into crafts and three-dimensional pieces – expect to see hand-painted lamps, work on reclaimed wood, and possibly some clay experiments.
There’s a huge range of work to browse and take home: greeting cards, art prints, tea towels and pouches featuring my designs, hand-painted postcards, and one-off original paintings. Whether you’re looking for a £2 card or a larger piece to hang on your wall, you’ll find expressive work which will hopefully make you think or smile (or both!).
