Watercolours, oil paintings and drawings from established artist Bruce Wright are this year accompanied by linoprints using a range of techniques by Ally Wright. Both take inspiration from travels in the UK and further afield, with subject matter ranging from the grand – e.g. sweeping landscapes – to the minute – e.g. a snail on a garden pot. Bruce enjoys the different opportunities presented by choice of medium for his paintings, and is now producing high-quality prints of selected pieces, also available for sale. Ally is stimulated by the different possibilities available through reduction linoprinting and multi-block printing, also on occasion opting for simple monoprints for impact.
