i am a contemporary oxford artist specialising in figurative painting. i attempt to explore the human form through a minimal, restrained colour palette. i prefer to work rapidly from life. though, as you will see from many of my images, there are things which can only be painted directly from the imagination. my large works usually end up as surreal and threatening dreamscapes. i live and work in cowley.
