Sunningwell School of Art has an open-door policy and we have been educating people of all ages and ability for over 50 years. Our creative artist-led community has 23 of Oxfordshire’s most contemporary professional practising artists and makers tutoring over 400 students across 53 classes weekly. The old Victorian building sitting alongside the village pond opposite the 12th Century church belies the bustling hub and prospering cultural community that we work together to make.
We mix the traditional with the contemporary, build social and creative connections and empower students to expand their artistic horizons.
You can study drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics morning, afternoon and evening, 6 days a week.
