Welcome to 50 Hurst Street Studios, working print studios with letterpress and relief printmaking. We have an exciting exhibition of prints new and old as well as cards, maps and books and offer a unique opportunity to see 200 years work of printing machine technology; it’s all still in use, including monotype casting, an automatic typecasting process that was once a mainstay process in the publishing world. We will also have a range of ceramics from Oxford Kilns, a wood-fired ceramics project run by Robin Wilson.
We work on a range of print jobs and commissions as well as working on our own projects, and we also run workshops from the studios. Please do visit us, to look, to buy, and simply to find out more about the fascinating processes we work with.
