Each month we hold an art market on James Street.
Artists come together to show and sell their creative goods. There’s a nice range of stall holders selling paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, textiles, illustrations and more.

Based in the pavilion at James St. Tavern, a wonderful old pub just off the Cowley Road. It’s a lovely daytime event, family friendly and a great chance to meet and chat to the creative community in East Oxford.

Beginning in 2021 the art market was originally held at the Jam Factory Gallery near the train station in Oxford. After the gallery closed down it was decided to keep the markets going. We found a new space in East Oxford.

We’ve since held well over fifty regular market days as well as special pop ups for events. There is a carpark nearby behind the Tescos on Cowley Road and the venue offers refreshments.
