Framed pieces, jewellry & quilts. Improvised textile art that puts hand stitching centre stage. Mixing traditional methods with contemporary aesthetics, this exhibition will focus on my improvised, pieced, fabric work. From small brooches, to large framed pieces for the wall. There will also be a number of quilted wall hangings, and small stretched works. My art uses traditional handwork techniques to create contemporary pieces that explore the beauty of imperfection, improvisation, and imagination.
You will have an opportunity to see my studio workspace and I will be present throughout the exhibition.
Located in the heart of Eynsham, with free on-street parking and a nearby car park: Back Lane Cap Park Back Lane OX29 4QP. Please note, most art will be displayed on the first floor, access via stairs only- no lift available. The studio is on the ground floor, space for buggies etc available.
