Visitors are warmly invited to explore the exhibition, meet the makers, and enjoy complimentary, homemade refreshments in the delightful enclosed garden.
Alison presents functional stoneware porcelain ceramics, wheel-thrown and hand-built. Influenced by her travels ( most recently to Tasmania this year), her native New Zealand, Pacific Islands, the British countryside and its wilder regions. Alison teaches in her studio and during Artweeks she is happy to demonstrate and discuss her techniques.
Serra shows sculptural, contemporary, silver jewellery made using casting and traditional techniques. Her work is heavily influenced by nature and ‘found objects’ and presents jewellery that is both distinctive and wearable. She enjoys making and you might see her working on a piece when you visit.
