Lucy’s current painting practice centres on loose floral forms, exploring balance, rhythm, and intuitive mark-making. Working across oils, acrylics, and inks, she investigates the interplay between floral motifs, light, and interior space, creating compositions that are both expressive and spatially nuanced.
The exhibition will include florals as well as works inspired by the kitchen garden . Lucy and her partner have built the ‘Garden Shed Gallery’ by hand. Years in the making, the project reflects their vision of a traditional barn-style gallery, crafted using local materials and traditional techniques. This exhibition celebrates its inaugural opening
For access to the Garden Shed Gallery please walk towards St Mary’s church and the War Memorial.
At the War Memorial turn left and follow the track along the side of the cemetery and the gallery will be signposted on the left.
