Janet is showing her unique jewellery at this venue alongside a group of wonderful artists, so lots to see and excite. Her jewellery has flowing forms and uses accents of gemstones and texture. She has been a jeweller for over 45 years and loves talking jewellery and there will be a workbench at the venue so you can see some of the techniques used and chat to get an inside view of the world of jewellery making.
Janet loves carving and earlier this year won a gold GC&DC award for her winged necklace, part of which was carved cow’s horn.
Janet has also co-written the book ‘Silver Jewellery Making’ with Machi de Waard, one of the other jewellers exhibiting and there will be copies of the book to browse and buy.
