I am a collage artist based in Jericho, making hand-cut paper collages. I exhibit as part of the East Oxford Art Collective, a wonderful group of artists with very different practices, but all equally brilliant!
I love settling down with a pile of old books and magazines, not knowing what images will catch my eye, what I’ll combine them with, or what new images I’ll produce. The element of chance is quite liberating…and fun! Much of my work is grounded in art history and many pieces have a feminist theme, which I always try to express with humour and a bit of whimsy.
