Exhibition information

Melissa is a contemporary multi-disciplinary artist, inspired by the natural world.
As a part of her practice, she makes animals and quirky bird sculptures for garden and home settings. The life-sized garden sculptures are made from strand wires and wire-netting, then painted. She sometimes uses bright, unrealistic colours and loves allowing the spirit of the piece find its own voice. Her sculptures will enhance a variety of outdoor settings and are fully weatherproof.

In her wall pieces and indoor sculptures, she uses a variety of materials, including collage and print-making techniques to create a variety of unique pictures and forms. Melissa enjoys trying different materials and tries to recycle and re-purpose where possible.
