Artist (or organisation) information:
I started designing and making jewellery in my small studio in Faringdon following classes and courses in silversmithing and jewellery making. Each piece is designed and made by me and I love nothing more than dreaming up new designs and then hammering and soldering silver and gold, or choosing from the whole spectrum of colours to be found in old and new semi-precious beads and stones. I have my own maker’s mark with the Birmingham Assay Office and the silver and gold I use is sold as recycled, and I also enjoy up-cycling and re-designing old pieces. I strive for simplicity and I try to hold on to the idea that less is more.
