Alison Jones studied at Camberwell College of Applied Arts, London for a B.A. Hons. Degree in Ceramics. Since graduating in 1995 she has taught pottery and figurative sculpture courses at Sunningwell School of Art, founded and teaches at Oxfordshire Arts and is a ceramics tutor at a variety of schools and community centres in the South Oxfordshire area. Alison is a member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild, and is an Associate Member of the Craft Potters Association. Her work is currently exhibited at Cotswold Glass & Crafts on The High Street, Burford, Oxfordshire, and Gallery @ 500ft in Lynton, Devon, Azure Gallery, Sidmouth and Ferrers Gallery, Lieicestershire. Alison teaches weekly pottery classes and one day Raku and Copper Matte Raku workshops at Oxfordshire Arts. A purpose built ceramic centre she has set up with her partner to pass on ceramic skills to all ages.
