Join artist Annie Sloan CBE as she reveals the inspiration behind her new Bodleian Medieval Collection and explores how to develop and translate ‘inspiration into design’. The talk will include a practical demonstration on creating a medieval-inspired design using the new Bodleian treasures box and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Annie Sloan is widely considered one of the world’s leading authorities in paint, colour and style and invented her revolutionary furniture paint, Chalk Paint™ in 1990. Her exhibition of paintings, ceramics, textiles, treasures box and a curated range of paints inspired by the Bodleian's medieval manuscripts are available for sale in the Library shops.
