In this idyllic location, you will learn the ancient art of Indian Block Printing and be able to print your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Print either a table runner, set of four napkins or any three smaller items of your choice (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, aprons, scarves) which you can take home on the day.
You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!
There is an onsite cafe where you can buy drinks, snacks and lunches or you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
There will be a few printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home.
