Learn how to achieve dynamic or subtle contrast in your painting compositions, using acrylic paint.
On this four-day course you will become familiar with the three main colour principles, hue, saturation, tonal value and how to use these to achieve the effect you want.

Simple planned exercises and free studies are designed for you to practice:
• mixing a wide range of hues from 6 basic primary colours and white.
• Handling your tools – using brushes, palette knife and other sundry tools.

Drawing skills are not essential.

You will be given specific tasks each Saturday to be completed over the month. Each session, apart from the 1st will start with a group feedback, Q&A
