Learn the skills involved in carving limestone in a day’s workshop. All materials, tools and tuition included (along with a constant flow of hot drinks and biscuits!)

You make and take home a piece of your own for home or garden.

Courses are held in the stunning parkland surroundings of Cokethorpe School, Oxfordshire and are for up to six people. I ask for a minimum age of 17.

Get together with friends and family to make a group, or reserve a place just for you. Gift vouchers are available (carved in stone!) for you to have something solid to wrap.

You don’t need to think of yourself as artistic, or have done something similar before. All the examples on this page were made by complete beginners in one day. You can do this - and it’s fun.

The day runs from 9.30-5.00 and costs £110. You keep whatever you make, and I guarantee that you will produce a finished piece to your own, or my, design.

Fancy hosting? Sculpture-in-a-day on tour - I bring everything to you. You provide your lunch, your guests and an outdoor space approx 4mx4m which can get dusty. £125 per person, with possible travel costs and accommodation added for distant venues.
