In this lovely village setting you will learn the ancient craft of Indian Block Printing and be able to print your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Print either a table runner, set of napkins or any three smaller items of your choice (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers) which you can take home on the day.

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Tea, coffee, cordial and stollen and mince pies will be provided but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks too.

There will be a selection of wooden blocks, textiles and paints available to buy at the end of the session for anyone who is interested in pursuing this hobby at home.
