Come and unwind, relax, and have fun re-connecting with your innate creative gifts through the process of making mosaics, 'Peace by Piece'

Enjoy 3 inspiring days - 19th, 20th, 21st Aug - experimenting with various ways of using colour, pattern, tone and texture in your mosaic. Practice various cutting techniques using mosaic nippers and cutters, and understand more about the various adhesive applications.

Plenty of recycled china, glass, pottery, shells, crystals, beads, old jewelry, small stones, and pearls to inspire your process.

The invitation is to give ourselves some time to slow down and gently explore our creative potentiality through making mosaics using loose line design and moment by moment mosaic process.

You are welcome to bring any of your own gathered treasures/broken crocks, old china etc that you may like to use in your mosaic.

No previous experience needed, just a willingness to explore in curiosity together.

One to one support is offered throughout the day within a supportive small group. (Approx 8 students)

Come and play with possibility!

All materials and tools supplied for you to use during the three days.

Teas, coffee and snacks provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch.

The River Room is on the North side of All Saints Church and you can access it through the entrance gate nearest to the George Pub.
Walk up the path and the River Room is straight ahead.
There is parking for about 5 cars alongside/close up the front wall of the church, which can be accessed by driving onto the George Pub forecourt and baring right.
Extra parking is available on the other side of the Green, to the left of The Abbey entrance.

There is accommodation close by if you would like to stay over. There are also a couple of high quality pubs offering snacks and great food just outside the River Room, over looking The Green.

Thank you for your interest.
