What?

Join artist Teresa Paiva at the Jericho Community Centre for Plant Life - Grounding and Rising - a unique workshop combining guided meditation, gentle yoga nidra, and creative exploration with air-dry clay.

This immersive session begins with breathwork (pranayama), gentle movement (asana), and a guided meditation enhanced by sound elements. From this meditative state, participants will transition into a hands-on exploration of clay, using plants as inspiration to capture their unique forms and textures.

Each individual’s clay creation will contribute to a collaborative installation as part of the Red Clay Exhibition, reinforcing themes of connection, creativity, and collective healing. Through the meditative practices of yoga nidra and clay work, participants will be invited to share time and space in a process that nurtures both individual reflection and shared experience.

This two-hour workshop is open to all skill levels—no prior yoga or clay experience is needed.

You will be able to collect your clay creations at the end of the Red Clay exhibition on Saturday 5 April.

Materials
If you can, please bring your own yoga mat.

We will have a small amount of spare yoga mats available; please let us know if you need us to provide one for you.
