Textile Landscapes Workshop at West Ox Arts Gallery, The Town Hall, Market Square, Bampton, OX182JH

Create a small piece of textile art, using simple sewing and embroidery techniques in a well lit and tranquil space.
This is a relaxing workshop providing an opportunity to explore fabric and threads on a pre-prepared hand painted background.
Fabrics will be chosen to enhance the background and lead to a small picture inspired by nature.
Guidance will be given on layering a variety of fabrics and threads and ways to stitch them in place.

All materials and equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring a small sewing kit if preferred.
Cost £25

Suitable for beginners, or would like to pick up a needle and thread again as well as those with some experience who would just like to play with colour and textures in a small group.
