SUMI-E is the ancient Japanese art of painting where black ink on which rice paper is chracterised by bold and soft brush strokes and subtle graduations of tone . The goal is not simply to reproductive the appearance of the subject. but to capture its essence. In my painting I draw my inspiration from a classical poem and i try to capture its spirit and meaning.
All my painting were sent to Japan and specialist made into a KAKEJIKU [ hanging scrolls] . KAKEJIKU made by old Japanese KIMONO materials .
