I work with all clays and a variety of firing processes including woodfire. My glazes are developed in the studio and glaze experimentation and combination is my particular passion. I am interested in forms with a simple elemental spirit often with a resonance to early Asian wares and contemporary Japanese ceramics. Most work is functional and fired to stoneware temperatures. Bowls, tea bowls, mugs, platters, and many vases.
