Although i have always loved creating and have worked with various media, i find painting in oils to be the most fascinating. I work to create atmosphere in my landscapes, both at home and in the Cotswolds and other lovely parts of the country as well as abroad. I am captivated by the shifting of clouds, the expanse of the sea, the changing colours in both the sea and within the flow of a rivers. Still Life also interests me in terms of the relationship of one object to the other and the use of light and shade.
