Oxford East - City
Artform:
Mixed Media, Textiles

Polly has lived and worked in East Oxford for over 15 years. She works in textiles and mixed media (printmaking, collage, drawing and painting). Her work reflects how the past impacts on the present landscape - drawn from her travels locally and from India to Ireland. Stone walls, field patterns, drovers’ roads and Iron Age forts are amongst the features that have shaped the landscape of today.

Trained in illustration and graphics at Canterbury College of Art, Polly has taught at secondary and adult level along side working in her garden studio. Further details can be found on her Facebook page ‘Polly Woolstone Mixed Media Artist / Teacher’ and details of her textile trips are found on Facebook at ‘Discover India through Textiles’.
