Medicine close up

Microscopy plays a key part in medical research, but as well as being vital to the research process the images created can be stunning. This exhibition combines the beauty of the images created by the Kennedy Histology Facility with an insight into some of the cutting-edge research being carried out in the University of Oxford’s medical research departments. Each image has been paired with different researcher from NDORMS who reflects on both the image itself and how it relates to their own research.

As well as visiting the exhibition, come and meet some of the Kennedy Histology team and researchers from the department and also try your hand at some microscopy activities.
