We’re pleased to be offering a new venue for Artweeks 2025. We are a group of eight local artists who will be exhibiting at Applegarth Nurseries, Chipping Norton. The venue is a large marquee which has lots of parking available right next to the entrance. In addition, there are toilet amenities on site. There will also be refreshments on offer in a sheltered seating area.
The following artists will all be exhibiting here:
Caroline Chappell is well known locally as a professional painter of striking semi abstract landscape and flower paintings. In addition, she runs extremely successful workshops locally.
Nadia Birkbeck produces paintings and drawings. She works in a variety of media including Mixed Media and Cold wax and Oil. Her work is abstract and takes inspiration from the Oxfordshire countryside and interiors.
Carol Edwards makes handcrafted silver jewellery and semi precious stones pieces often inspired by the Cornish coast.
Tam Frishberg works with ceramics making beautiful pieces which are designed to be functional whilst also being attractive in form and feel.
Claire Goodhall makes lovely mosaic baths for the garden. She also make a range of items suitable for the home. During the week, Claire will be offering demonstrations. She also offers workshops and is happy to answer enquiries.
Maureen Thorburn paints large contemporary pieces which have a bright and energetic colour palette. Her work depicts Still Life and nudes.
Ros Ingram creates unique sculptors by combining brightly glazed porcelain with retro recycled items. She has developed a distinct and unique stye.
