In my home studio, I create functional stoneware pottery’usually bowls, plates, mugs, and vases. I enjoy experimenting with form and texture, often using traditional lace patterns and natural imprints, like leaves. The rich turquoise and blue hues in my work are inspired by the colours of the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Pottery, for me, is more than a craft’it’s a mindful, therapeutic practice that grounds me in the present moment while connecting me to my heritage through modern interpretations of this ancient art form.
