I am a glass and enamel artist, teacher and art psychotherapist. This will be my first year exhibiting at Oxford Art Weeks and I am very excited to be showing my work at Wise Investment in Chipping Norton.

I create glass artwork, jewellery and homeware, with each piece is designed and created by hand. I focus on colour and form, creating interesting shapes and designs in my work. Through using the techniques of glassblowing, hot manipulation, fusing, lampworking and enamelling I am able to use glass as medium to take an idea from my imagination and bring it to life. My work is bright, colourful and I love to make work that will makes people smile!

Having spent my childhood by the sea, memories of that time are reflected in my work with vibrant colours inspired by Turkey. My work often follows natural themes using a variety of glass techniques and I am inspired by the world around me. I also like to experiment and learn new skills to incorporate in my work.

I studied a BEd teaching degree with art and design, enjoying a successful career as a primary and early years teacher for many years, before going on to pursue my passion and love for art. Following this, I gained my MA in Art Psychotherapy, working with 3 charities helping children, young people and adults through difficult times with art making.

I am represented by several galleries and take part in art fairs and open studio events. I also give talks to groups, offer school workshops and teach small group workshops from various locations including my studio. I also accept commissions.
