My work is contemporary realism rooted in the tradition of representational painting and I am well known for my still lives, which often have a bit of a twist! I also enjoy creating work inspired by the stunning British landscape, coast and London and I work predominantly in oils.
I was delighted to have recently been invited to become a member of Oxford Art Society!
I normally paint from my studio located in the lovely village of Turville, near Henley on Thames but I am excited to be showing my work for Oxfordshire Artweeks 2022 in the unique location of the wonderful Narnia Treehouse set in woodlands, close to Shotover Country Park. A spacious airy venue in the trees!
Arriving by car? PLEASE NOTE: There is NO ON-SITE PARKING so please use Shotover Country Park car park further up Old Road, and follow the signs along the public footpath, located close to the entrance to the car park, to access the venue on foot.
At the gate please call me for access on 07967 014085 (All info will be on the gate)
The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have limited mobility there is a small amount of parking available on site at The Oaks, please contact me for info or follow signage.
The Treehouse is located in the garden of The Oaks.
Follow Old Road west through Old Headington, and over the ring road and follow up the road to Shotover Car Park.
For a detailed map of the location see my blog
(N.B. The venue postcode is OX3 8GH but some satnavs still use the old postcode OX3 8TA)
My venue is part of the Headington Trail map so there are lots of other wonderful artists showing in the area close by!
