At Makespace Oxford, we believe the most sustainable building is the one that’s already standing. Across every community, the skills and creativity needed to build vibrant, thriving places are already here—they just need the right conditions to flourish.
We transform empty buildings into homes for creatives, makers, doers, fixers, and dreamers. This exhibition showcases work from the incredible organisations that bring our spaces to life.

About the Venue/Accessibility:
The Community Works event space is at the back of Lula's restaurant and can be accessed via wheelchair from Becketts Street. The space is level inside and has one disabled toilet. All toilets are gender neutral.
Please let us know in advance if you want to view the exhibition and will be using a wheelchair so we can make sure it's ready for you in advance.
A safer space policy is in place.
A play kit and sensory kit can be provided if needed.
The venue is only a few minutes walk from the Oxford Train station which you can also easily access by bus. However, if you are coming by bus via Botley it’s best to read the information provided by Oxford city council on the bridge closure.
If you have any access requirements please contact us on sarah [at] makespaceoxford {dot} org and we will do our best to accommodate you.
