I have had a fascination for painting in oils since childhood. Since retirement, and having settled in this beautiful corner of the countryside I have, at last, the luxury of time to spend hours at my easel. I used to live in Cape Town, South Africa and was fortunate to be tutored by Heidi Burstein for a couple of years. These days, I walk many miles with my dog in all weathers, feasting my eyes on the ravishing landscapes that surround me - always with an eye to capturing the photographs I reference when painting. My style is quite representational, and I am happiest working on a small to medium size format. Not least because my cottage is very small! You'll find my works displayed in the Fawley Social Club, which will be clearly flagged and easy to find in the middle of the village of North Fawley. Please park on the village green.
