I use a red Staffordshire clay, and decorate with clay slips coloured mostly with natural metal oxides. I use fresh leaves in an unusual way, pressing them into one of the coloured slips, then brushing different slips over to give a sense of movement to the decoration.
All my work has been carefully designed to be beautiful to use as well as to look at!
