Water and the Witch: an exploration of water magic, folklore and witchcraft through paintings, illustrations and other modes of visual storytelling, such as crankie theatre. All aboard an old butty boat on the Oxford canal. Lady Banbury is a few boats north of Godstow bridge as you enter into Wolvercote. This is where I work as a freelance artist and shall be present and at work during the exhibition.

Getting here:
What three words: flute.fire.tables
Walking and cycling access direct along the towpath.
Parking available in Wolvercote near the meadow/paid parking and some in the village.
No. 6 bus from city centre.

Note that the postcode is not exact, just the general area. for reference, at Goose green. Ox28qt, the boat is on the other side of the canal. From here there is access through the gate (head north until you reach a left turn, cross the bridge and left (south) towards the boat. Alternatively walk over Godstow bridge and find canal access near the railway tracks, once down the steps head north to the boat. The boat is situated on the canal by the Canal Keepers Cottage which should be viewable on google maps.
