Common Ground
Common Ground brings together four artists whose practices span experimental printmaking, painting and crafted small artefacts. Although each artist works with a distinct visual language, their work intersects through shared themes of place, family, and the quiet rituals that shape our sense of belonging.
The exhibition explores how memories, domestic routines and familiar landscapes leave lasting marks on us. These influences appear across the work—sometimes through layered surfaces that recall lived environments, sometimes through motifs inspired by home, heritage or everyday rhythms.
Working in close proximity, the artists have developed a natural dialogue that enriches their individual practices. Shared interests, repeated encounters and the simple act of making art side by side have created a collective voice that is felt throughout the show.
Presented across two neighbouring studios, the exhibition highlights both the individuality of each artist and the connections that bind their work together. Common Ground invites visitors to reflect on how people, places and relationships shape who we are—and how art reveals the subtle ties that unite us.
