The driving force in Jules Bishop's artistic practice is environmental activism and she works in an intersectional way, crossing disciplines in the humanities, sciences and technology. Jules is an artist who wants a society with a caring operating system and a planet with a future. Her current research focuses on the natural habitat of hedgerows and she has built a seasonal collection of frozen hedgerow inks with which she creates ice-process drawings, and, pigments; whose uses include mixing into CO2 absorbing plastic VOC-free paint. Jules raises awareness and facilitates depth of community engagement by means of poetic activism. Instagram @artjules2022
