I am very excited to exhibitfor Artweeks 2026 at my new studio. Kingfisher Studios formerly located in Crawley has now moved to Kiddington nr Woodstock.
Building on the success of the last 2 years, there will be, alongside myself, 8 other artists showing to offer you a wide variety of media.
I have been working on my mixed media pieces.
These often evoke a layered sense of place, balancing rural softness with the presence of time-worn buildings. Using collage (often made on a gelli plate first),ink and acrylic, my work builds up textured surfaces that echo the Cotswold elements. Working with different media together, brings about a cohesion and atmosphere, applied in layers to unify the composition and establish light,colour and depth which is quietly abstract while relating back to the original inspiration.
