I create whimsical illustrations, often set amongst trees and woodland, with a host of magical and comforting characters. I like to capture the natural environment from life, drawing and painting in my favourite settings. There are often mud or raindrops on original drawings, so be sure to look closely! I find drawing in nature provides solace and calms my nervous system.
I am also an Ambassador of Green Sketching, a practice of noticing nature through drawing, which positively impacts our wellbeing and our love for our natural world. I will be offering Green Sketching workshops over the week, so please look out for info on this and book on!
