Jane White’s hand-built, burnished ceramics are fired with organic material in a large open pit on her farm in the Chilterns.
A Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, her work explores the beauty of the form, referencing the natural world, and the enduring qualities of ancient pots she has seen in national collections, and in her extensive travels across the world.
In this year’s Artweeks she is exhibiting alongside 4 other talented artists, in a beautiful thatched barn, in the grounds of a 15th century coaching inn.
