Ceramics
Variety of ceramics for house and garden. Mostly thrown on the wheel, the pots are stoneware and porcelain. Almost all of them are made to be used. They are glazed with celadon and carbon trap shinos and fired in flame kilns. The shinos produce dramatic surfaces ranging from amber through charcoal. They are decorated with wax, sang de boeuf, sprinklings of rose ash and gold lustre brushwork. There is also a range of pots that have been wood fired in anagama kilns in Oxfordshire and France. These are 'painted' by flame and smoke.
Recent work includes wild edge charcuterie and cheese boards in elm, walnut and cherry.
