I create a world of animals and beings that has a fairytale and surrealist atmosphere with weird and wonderful composites of ceramics and textiles, and collages of cuttings from my life. I paint, I draw, I wield my scissors and needles and I make objects. Trained in my hometown Amsterdam, Holland, at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, I am based in England since 2004.
