My glass work is based on texture and definition with overlapping layers filled with small glass particles. I prefer to work with transparent glass, which sparkles with light; either on a windowsill reflecting the day light or on a mantel piece twinkling with candlelight. I am influenced by nature’s colours, especially the Chilterns, where I live and the Mediterranean sea, where I come from. I design and make glass items, which are created from sheets of glass, cut to shape and size and fired in my kiln called “Pablo” in my home studio. I exhibit regularly at Oxfordshire Art Weeks and at various fairs and markets around Watlington.
