A practicing artist for many years, Liz cut creative ties with London, making Oxfordshire her home in 2020, here from a studio surrounded by downlands she has immersed herself in her passion for painting.
Horses have played an important part throughout Liz’s life, as an owner, rider and artist. Having graduated from Goldsmiths College of Art, Liz spent her early life as an artist, traveling and looking for inspiration, she came back to the UK and found it by chance on the racecourse.
Liz’s unique style, displays effortless drawing skills, renowned for her creativity, expression and movement, she is a highly dramatic colourist. Her compositions are created in traditional and mixed media.
Having exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad, Liz’s work has found its way into private collections and is also displayed on UK racecourses, including Cheltenham, Newbury, Ffos Las and Fontwell; Liz is also artist in residence at Royal Windsor Racecourse.
Private commissions include Shadwell and Newbury Racecourse creating an original artwork work each year, to honour the winner of their season highlight, the (Hennessey, now Coral) Gold Cup. Liz will be taking her easel to Fawley Social Club, and looks forward to meeting people as she works.
