A collection of painting and drawings inspired by the richness of colours and textures in natural landscapes. Using a mixture of mediums including chalk pastels, acrylic inks and oil. In making a painting or drawing I experience the same feelings in both a physical and sensory way as though I am physically present in the landscape. My use of chalk pastel, its tactile quality, its roots from nature's core, is overwhelmingly sensory and gives me that greater connection to Mother Nature in my work.

Edwina Sercombe is now an Oxfordshire based artist working across multiple disciplines. She studied at Chelsea College of Art & Design before completing a BA Hons in Textile Design, specialising in Print at the Glasgow School of Art in 2006. Edwina now works from her home studio in Oxfordshire. She has worked across several creative platforms from cultural event programming to set design and dressing for events, film and television. Edwina is co-founder of the multidisciplinary studio - Dae Studio, specialising in the design & production of visual solutions, bringing ideas to life.
